PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

COACHING STYLE

My coaching philosophy is deeply rooted in the principles of behavioural science, which inform my understanding and influence on organisational dynamics. This perspective is key in facilitating effective change management and driving operational excellence, with a special emphasis on human-centric strategies. Central to my philosophy is the cultivation of self-awareness. I dedicate myself to aiding clients in gaining a deeper understanding of their identities and capabilities, a process essential for building the confidence necessary for impactful decision-making in their professional lives.

I adopt a bespoke, value-based, and systemic approach in my coaching, specifically designed to enhance skills, elevate performance, and enable clients to navigate and overcome professional challenges confidently. Ultimately, my aim is to guide clients in realising and surpassing their full potential, achieving both personal and professional success.

QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION

Throughout my career in financial services, I have held various roles, including management consulting at PwC, investment banking with Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley, and executive positions in hedge funds and private equity firms in Hong Kong. As a Chief Operating Officer, I took on the responsibilities of a licensed HK SFC Responsible Officer and Manager-In-Charge for Operational Control, Compliance, and Risk Management. I am also proud to have been a founding member and a key contributor to the development and international expansion of several successful start-up hedge funds in Asia, which have been notable milestones in my career.

My shift to coaching was driven by a strong belief in the science and transformative power of coaching. I find great fulfilment in working alongside clients, aiding them in realising their better selves and positively impacting their lives, their professional spheres, and the organisations they serve. This transition is more than just a career change; it is a dedication to fostering growth and success in others, utilising the wealth of experience and insights I have accumulated in my career in finance.
